First there was the Boulogne to Biarritz (B2B) bike ride in 2010 which raised £6,000 to fund our first three trips to Zambia; these laid the foundation for the ColaLife Operational Trial in Zambia (COTZ). Now we are at a similar crossroads as we aim to spread our learning from Zambia, on how best to improve access to a better designed diarrhoea treatment kit. Can you give us the boost we need? We are fund-raising so we can help other countries to freely take up our designs, data and learning, to transform access to diarrhoea treatment, save lives and reduce stunting in young children.
Following on from the 2010 B2B ride, we are now going C2C – Caen to Cannes – and we are recruiting riders and funders for 1,100km across France. We need two more riders to join Nigel Bolding and me. Nigel was the instigator of the B2B ride and is the brains behind C2C. We’d like to keep the riding group small – for logistics reasons – but have a big impact. Once again, our aim will be to raise a total of £6,000 for ColaLife. Please consider the deal laid out below and if you are interested in joining the ride – or helping with fund-raising – please email simon@colalife.org with your pitch!
