Chris Vallance of the BBC and Euan Wilmshurst from Coca-Cola
I was able to present ColaLife to the lower school (12-16 year olds) at Lawrence Sheriff School, Rugby yesterday. This was organised by friend and long-time ColaLife supporter, Jon Watson who teaches music there. As part of the presentation I played the extract below from the BBC Radio 4 interview with Euan Wilmshurst where he commits Coca-Cola to ‘testing the ideas behind ColaLife’. Jon was not aware that we had this commitment which surprised me and probably means that many others don’t realise we have it either so I thought I’d remind everyone with this blog post.

For the sake of completeness, here is the original iPM feature which kick-started our relationship with Coca-Cola. This was broadcast on 24 05 2008 on BBC Radio 4 as part of the iPM programme hosted by Eddie Mair. The feature includes Eve Graham singing a song asking for Coca-Cola’s help and a commitment from Coca-Cola’s Salvatore Gabola to meet with Simon Berry to discuss. The meeting with Salvatore then took place in Brussels on 16 06 2008.
